Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Termfox app for iPhone and iPad. They're short, and written to be read.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using Termfox you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. License

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Termfox on Apple devices you own or control. You receive the right to use the app, not ownership of it.

3. Purchases

Termfox is distributed through the App Store, and Apple handles all payments, including in-app purchases. We have no access to your payment details. Refunds are decided by Apple under its own policies; see Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

4. Acceptable use

Only connect to servers you are allowed to access, and follow the rules of the systems you use. Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

5. Your data

Termfox works on your device and talks only to the servers you add. Your hosts, keys and snippets are not sent to us. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

6. No warranty

Termfox is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise that it will be free of errors or always available. You are responsible for what you run on your servers.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of Termfox. Liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Termfox after an update, the new terms apply.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
